Sanctuary Officers guard these areas. Typically, they will give you a
ticket if they find out that you have compromised the ecosystem out on
the reef or on the sea grass beds. A ticket is not a fun event for your
vacation.
So If you plan to rent a back-country fishing boat,
definitely learn local mooring and anchoring laws, as coral reefs dot
the waters and you shouldn't touch the coral with your boat or anchor.
